Projects Committee
You can fill out the application form here; your application is due TONIGHT (10/29) at 11:59pm ET!
This committee will allow you to write a spec on a problem you want to solve for your portfolio, learn PM skills through workshops, and work within a community of fellow students who are similarly passionate about PM.

Description:
When recruiting just isn’t working out and you’re not sure where to go next, sometimes building your own PM internship/role is the best thing you can do. We will walk you through how to go about creating your own internship opportunities, provide templates, and offer guidance.

Projects Committee
Finally! We’re excited to open up our first committee that general members can join!
The Projects committee will allow you the opportunity to learn and apply Product Management (PM) skills to a problem of your choosing. No previous PM experience needed!
Goals:
Write a spec you can display to potential employers on a portfolio/your LinkedIn Profile
Getting a foundation for what Product Management is in practice
Making new friends who are similarly interested in PM.
Throughout the program this semester, you’ll have the opportunity to listen to workshops hosted by those who have worked in Product roles as well as getting a chance to work within pods of fellow committee members to review each other's work. There’ll also likely be some social events specific to this committee.
Currently, the team is aiming to have at most 15-20 people in the committee but if less than that sign up, you’ll automatically be accepted :D
The timeline for the Projects Committee Application is as follows:

Next Week - Interviews to understand your goals and fit for the committee
Committee will kick off after all interviews are completed!

This Wednesday we got a chance to chat with a former PM Intern and now Incoming PM at Microsoft! Frank shared his experiences about recruiting, what the company was like, and more.
